The Writing Center welcomes qualified students to become part of the exciting work of assisting their peers in becoming more effective and confident writers.

To become a tutor, a student must:

• Attain at least a B+ in College Writing courses and a B+ average in his/her major
• Be recommended by a professor, the Director, or a writing tutor
• Have your writing sample reviewed by the Director
• Be interviewed by the Director
• Participate in on-going training and orientation
