School of Nursing

Welcome from the Dean

Nyack's core values were penned and adopted within the last decade but the legacy of these values began at its founding more than 127 years ago. Our core value of social relevance is defined as an objective to prepare students to serve in ministerial, educational, healing and community-building professions.

Our nation is in need for dedicated nurses to meet the increasing demand placed by an aging U.S. population, a high demand for quality care, and an existing RN workforce that is approaching retirement age. You can be a part of the solution to this problem. Nyack College rises to meet the need of this nation to increase the number of nurses with a baccalaureate degree to 80 percent by 2020. School of nursing offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through 3 different pathways: traditional BS in Nursing, LPN to BS in Nursing, and RN to BS in Nursing. RN to BS on online program will be offered in near future.

Explore this exciting new undergraduate degree program at Nyack that will lead to opportunities in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Whether you decide on working in a hospital, a health clinic, a school, in medical missions work abroad, or as an educator, you’ll find a strong foundation available to you at Nyack College.
