The campus community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to attend Nyack's first Scholars' Symposium on Tuesday, April 6 on the Rockland campus. This event is an outgrowth of the Faculty Scholarly Dialogue Committee formed by Dr. Vilma Balmaceda, Dr. James Danaher, Prof. Amy Davis, Dr. Dion Harrigan, Dr. Leonard Kageler, and Prof. Susanne Hartl.
The papers that faculty will present were completed during a sabbatical or as a result of a research grant each was provided by Nyack/ATS. Sessions will be held at 9:35 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. in Boon Center, Hilltop, Moseley, Pardington Hall, Simpson Hall, and Sky Island. Students will be required to attend two sessions and an assignment will be written into all syllabi on the Rockland campus.
