'08 ATS Alumnus and Young Adults Pastor Adds Executive Director Role to Ministry

Ryan E. Faison (’08, M.Div., ATS), the College and Young Adults Pastor at Christ Church (Montclair and Rockaway, NJ) has been appointed to the role of executive director of Young Adults United (YAU), a Kingdom-minded movement to bring young adult leaders and ministries together across the state of New Jersey.

In this role, Ryan will lead the YAU Leadership Team in casting vision, organizing regional events and retreat and promote cross-cultural, Kingdom-minded collaboration. YAU founder and Associate Pastor of Youth and College Ministries, John Dere (’15. M.Div., ATS) will continue to support the vision of YAU.

As a seminary student at ATS, Ryan served as a commuter student chaplain and an assistant in the Field Education and Financial Aid Departments. In 2008, Ryan received the Dr. David A. Denyer Award, citing exemplary performance in academics, preaching, soul care and service to the community.
