The Nyack College School of Music hosts its fourth annual Hudson River Pianofest this week--Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9--in Pardington Hall on the Rockland campus.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience the world class performance of internationally renowned pianist, Sergei Babayan. A New York Times music critic says he is "acclaimed for the immediacy, sensitivity and depth of his interpretations” and his “performances reveal an emotional intensity and bold energy, equipping him to explore a stylistically diverse repertoire. He is known for his innovative programming."
In addition to being a top flight piano virtuoso, Maestro Babayan is a much sought after piano pedagogue. His student, Daniil Trifonov was the winner of both the formidable Tchaikovsky and Rubinstein competitions in 2011.
