Positions open beginning the 2014-15 school year:
Middle School Principal needed for Grades 6-8. The successful candidate should have an understanding of and preferably experience in leading faculty toward the creation of positive, spiritually nurturing, productive learning environments in which each student’s learning is top priority. Elementary understanding of Spanish is helpful. Position prefers a Master’s degree and 5 years’ experience, a background in Christian Education, and Licensure.
Elementary Teachers needed with two years’ experience at the K-5 level preferred. The successful candidate should have an understanding and/or experience with ESL/ELL inclusion strategies in the classroom. Elementary understanding of Spanish is helpful. Position requires an Education degree, background in Christian Education, and Licensure. Previous international teaching experience is a plus. An initial commitment of three years is preferred.
Middle School Language Arts Teacher needed who loves middle school students and their challenges and will serve as a positive influence and leader in our middle school program. An elementary understanding of Spanish is extremely helpful. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, licensure, and agreement with the school’s statement of faith and lifestyle statement. A background in Christian education and at least two years of teaching experience are preferred. Time commitment of 2-3 years is required.
Elementary PE Teacher needed with two or more years of experience at this level, love elementary school students and the challenges, and be a positive influence and leader. Position could involve coaching in addition to teaching PE classes. An elementary understanding of Spanish is extremely helpful. Position requires an Education degree, background in Christian Education, and licensure. Time commitment of 2-3 years is required.
Campus Pastor/Chaplain needed: Exciting opportunity to impact lives through comprehensive student discipleship programming and spiritual care for the wider school family. Responsibilities include pointing students and staff to Jesus through Bible teaching, pastoral counseling, and facilitating both student and staff worship opportunities. Applicants must demonstrate a deep love for Jesus and a strong desire to point students to him. In addition, applicants must demonstrate a desire to minister to school staff working full-time in cross-cultural ministry. A desire to work as part of a team is critical. Theological training on the undergraduate or graduate level is required. Pastoral experience, international experience, and Spanish-speaking ability are preferred.
